As cat lovers, none of us can imagine having to abandon our home and leave without our cats, and we are sure many of you will have seen cats wrapped in blankets or tucked in their owner's coats just to get them to safety.

Animals are the forgotten victims of war. They do not understand war or conflict, and we want to support the people of Ukraine as they flee their country with their beloved pets, creating a need for shelter, food and medicines. The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy has already sent £5000 to support the rescue efforts that are taking place. This, of course, isn’t enough so the GCCF is launching an appeal to raise money to continue this aid.

Our target is £25,000, and GCCF has pledged to match fund up to this amount - please help us to reach this target.
